There has been plenty of speculation on the summer transfer rumour mill suggesting that not only would Helder Costa’s time at the Molineux come to an end but that Leeds United were heavily interested in our wide attacker.
Helder Costa has joined @LUFC in a season-long loan that will turn permanent in July 2020.
Thank you @heldercosta_ for your efforts over the years and the very best of luck for the future!

On Wednesday, Wolverhampton Wanderers confirmed that the 25-year-old had now penned a loan deal with the Elland Road outfit, but given it was always expected that we preferred a permanent deal and there was some doubt whether Leeds would agree to that without knowing where their future in 2020/21 lay, they did surprisingly allow what I can only assume is an obligation on the loan next summer.
“Could Do Wonders” “Perfect Deal” – These Wolves Fans Welcome Leeds Speculation
Most seemed to agree at the time a loan to refind his form would work wonders for us both in terms of a second chance at the club, or simply to boost his fee given the reported fee we paid for him, but his time is up according to the Official Website.
The transfer fee isn’t disclosed but I can’t imagine we’ve taken much of a hit on our original outlay (if any) and he’ll forever be in the hearts of many fans for the part he played in helping us to the top flight in 2017/18.
Wolves fans have a second reason to partially cheer Leeds on next season.
